A very basic product with only continuous or flashing light, no levels. It was extrtemely difficult to remove the back to insert the batteries. It was purchased to live in the boot of the car until need arises. As cheap headtorches go it seems OK but the Petzl torches are far better ( and expensive) and I'd always use one of these on the hill.
Good adjustable straps which are easy to adjust even when on your head.
You can change the inclination which is very useful
It is not bulky which others are that I have seen.
4 different light modes.
Only bad point is that it's a bit difficult to get the battery cover off and the instuctions on how to do it don't really help.
not ideal for larger than average heads - more elastic is needed or a beanie can be worn to hold in place
batteries are included -m not so easy to put in
very light and unobtrusive product
Bought for my BEL training course in Oct - figured if am cooking outside a head torch will be very helpful. Not used it yet - but it seems to be perfect and at a great price.
Great little head torch, however getting the back off to get new batteries in was extremely difficult and time consuming! This is the only fault of this product though.
Not the brightest and not the easiest to change battery with, but its brightness is still sufficient enough and, since it's LED, it can last quite a while.
While Mountain Warehouse products are seldom state of the art, they are good quality and fully fit for purpose. They represent excellent value
my son just loves this little gadget i boutgh it for his school camp and thought it would be beter for him than a hand held torch
Instructions could be a little clearer; you need to push in at the sides as you pull the torch apart when replacing batteries.
My husband used it to close our side gate when he put out the bins. It is very dark there and this made a hugh difference.
Ideal for use when working in difficult conditions, ie setting up and repairs equipment whilst afloat on a motor criuser.
It is very hard to get the battery compartment cover off - I couldn't do it, but my husband managed it in th end.
Bought for my son for road running, as we live in an unlit area, lovely bright light, good adjustable straps.
Well priced and good lighting however I encountered problems when trying to open the battery compartment.
Looks good but getting the battery housing open is rather tricky. Haven't managed it yet so can't judge.
Bought for my son, or Cub camp, really useful. Leaves hands free.
Will buy stronger LED next time.
Tried it last night when testing my tent and new sleeping bag. Good value for money. Good light.
bought for camping, but its good because my partner can use when at work as an electrician.
Useful for hillwalking, particularly at this time of year. Good quality for the money.
sensible advice from Lee meant I changed my original choice to this one following
