this is a great pole, feels lovely in/on your hand (unlike some cheaper ones)

I have not yet used it in hard walking conditions, but i'm sure it will be exactly what i need.

Bit too early perhaps as i am only using them for the first time today. but unless it snaps in the first kilometre it looks fine.
worth pointing out that the straps are not fitted the same. one is "upside down". difficult to describe in words. you would need to see them both together.

My previous walking poles were of typical ice/ski design. in contrast these new ones have a handle which i'm now finding more comfortable for walking, ends which are sprung so as to cushion any shocks transmitted up to my hands & rubber tips which are more versatile for my current uses. the springing seems to be a good tension for me but folding away & resetting is taking a little getting used to. they're still new so can't comment on how they'll last but they appear well made.

I look forward to my next hike. i know these poles will be great for support and importantly comfort
