The Compass Typ 1933 is a traditional baseplate compass inspired by the iconic Silva models from the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. While it carries a classic retro look, it’s equipped with modern functionality, including a global needle for reliable use anywhere in the world, a built-in magnifying lens for detailed map work, and a grip-friendly rotating compass ring made from durable CNC-machined aluminium. This compass also features luminous markings that make it suitable for navigation in low-light or nighttime conditions. It includes map-measuring scales of 1:50,000 and 1:25,000, in both millimetres and inches, ensuring compatibility with most standard maps. The Compass Typ 1933 is built from tough materials to withstand challenging weather and demanding outdoor environments.
