The Parallel Talus Zip Neck Baselayer is high wicking and highly breathable, as well as being lightweight and fast drying. The zip neck baselayer is comfortable and easy to care for. High wicking When you perspire or when moisture hits the fabric it will simply drop off the fabric allowing no moisture to be absorbed by the garment. This keeps you cool and comfortable and ensures that even in high energy activity, your body is kept at a regulated temperature. Highly breathable Highly breathable garments allow air to circulate in order for you to remain comfortable and cool during an active lifestyle. It is important for a base layer garment to be highly breathable as it allows the wicking to take place. Zip neck The Talus Base Layer has a zip neck to allow for a quick cool down. This works in harmony with the high wicking fabric to keep you cool and comfortable at all times. The casual zip neck design also means that you can use the garment for normal everyday use. Fast drying Fast drying garments dry quickly due to the structure, composition and the weight of the fabric or a combination of the aforementioned. Also chemical treatments can make a garment quick dry. Fabric composition The Talus base layers have been constructed out of 100% polyester that has been treated with chemical wicking.

I have used this item for the past 2 years and ound they actually do what they say on the box, an excellent piece of clothing. I use them when out in the mountans, my cousin was given a shirt and asked for two more and the pants, he is an international Class 1 driver and finds the shirts exceptional on cold days when out of the cab, ergo he uses them for work. they are a sound product. After two years wear efficacy has not been affected.
Perversely, perhaps, used as the only layer when going out for running training in November in Scotland (OK, it was unseasonably warm - about 10C-12C). Felt absolutely at the right temperature from leaving the house to running hard uphill. Not sure how it will be when it pours down.
Great fit, not too tight or loose, and very warm. Good at soaking sweat away, and zip allows some cooling if you get too hot. Body and sleezes are nice and long too, so you don't get a cold gap if you bend over. And amazingly good value.
Always used jumpers and tee shirts for base layers when out walking. Very suprised to find out that such thin garments can be so warm. One major benifit is that when too hot they pack into a small space when compared to a jumper.
Extremly comfortable a thin layer that certainly keeps you warm with no restrictions, would certainly recommend it. Have bought before, only slight drawback tends to bobble up after washing but still works fine.
Very good fit. The top is of very good quality, well made and good to wear. I use these daily and find them to do as it says on the tin. Warm, light and easy to wash, keeping their shape and fit.
Got the top for husband as his old ones are getting a bit worn. They were also from Mountain Warehouse and have had a lot of wear and have lasted a long time. He would recommend them.
The lady in the shop was very good in telling that the sizes can be generous so I went for one size down which was a perfect fit. The tops are quit long so that good for tucking in.

I find the base layer I purchased excellent value, very "easy" to wear and warm and it packs down to asmall size so is easy to pack.
Found that buying the smaller size was fine. Feels tight as you put it on but is very comfortable and keeps the cold wind out.
Actually bought this for my sister-in-law as the men's base layers are longer in the body compared to the women's base layers.

I would have been happy if the neck is higher by 3 inch so that I don't need additional wrapper to save my neck.

good quality top, no static as with some base layers, I prefer the zip as you can let a bit of air in.
so far only tried them on and they are a good fit, when cycling will be the test if they keep me warm.
Quality seems very good but I found the large was a little on the small size across my shoulders.
