What SPF should I use for skiing?

03.05.2023 | FAQs
Q. What SPF should I use for skiing?

A. UV rays are more harmful at higher altitudes, and as snow reflects sun rays it is a lot easier to get sunburnt when skiing than it is when lying on a beach! A minimum of SPF20 should be used when skiing and re-applied every couple of hours. Specific ski sun cream is available which is highly water resistant and also provides protection from wind burn.
