The Gabel FR-3 EF is an ultracompact folding pole built for trail runners, ski mountaineers, and technical hikers who need a high-performance stick that packs down small. Using the Wired technology, the pole folds to just 37 cm in seconds with a single button press — small enough to stow in a backpack side pocket or pack lid. The first section is also height-adjustable via a Fast Lock external system, and the foam Ergo Fit handle with Touring extension provides excellent grip on steep ascents.
