The HX891BT/E is a handheld VHF radio with integrated GPS, full DSC (Digital Selective Calling) and Bluetooth, designed for serious water safety. At the press of the distress key it shares your exact position, while hands-free Bluetooth, a water-activated strobe, built-in scrambler and FM radio add everyday versatility. An oversized 1.7-inch full-dot-matrix display with day/night modes and 700 mW noise-cancelling audio make it easy to use in any conditions. Submersible to IPX8 and MIL-STD-810F rated. Approved for UK and EU use. Power & Charging: Supplied with a rechargeable 1800mAh Li-Ion battery and alkaline backup battery tray. Recharge the Li-Ion battery using the included charging cradle and AC/DC chargers. Typical full charge time is approximately 3 hours.
