UPF 50 sun protection is certified to AS/NZS 4399:2017 and CE PPE standards for protection against natural UV radiation, achieving UPF >50 (98% UV protection). It also meets the sun protection criteria set by The Skin Cancer Foundation. Protection may be weakened over time or if the fabric becomes damaged.
