Soft Soak 2 Cook

The Cadac Soft Soak 2 Cook is a flexible silicone soaking tray designed specifically for cleaning grill plates from the Cadac 2 Cook 2 and 2 Cook 3 ranges. This food-grade silicone basin holds both grill plates simultaneously, letting you soak away burnt-on residue while you relax after cooking. The tray measures 39 x 34 x 10cm and withstands temperatures up to 220°C, so you can add hot soapy water straight from the kettle. Fill the Soft Soak with hot soapy water, place your grill plates face down, and leave them for about an hour. The prolonged soak loosens stubborn grease and carbonised bits without any scrubbing, which protects the coating on your plates. This gentle method preserves the surface of your grill plates, helping them last longer. After soaking, most residue wipes away with a cloth or rinses off under the tap. The one consideration is that you'll need space to set it up whilst soaking, as it can't be moved around easily when filled with water. The silicone construction folds flat when empty, taking up minimal space in your camping gear or caravan cupboard. You can wrap it around stored grill plates to keep everything together, or stack it with other Cadac accessories.
