If you've invested in a Dometic CFX3 95DZ or CFX5 95DZ powered cool box, this protective cover makes absolute sense. It's built from thermoformed EVA foam panels and heavy-duty 1200D nylon, which means it'll take the knocks whether you're bouncing down rough tracks or just loading kit in and out of the van. The charcoal finish looks smart rather than utilitarian, and the four-piece design wraps snugly around the cooler with concealed zips holding everything in place. What's clever is the clip-on lid section. You don't need to mess about removing the entire cover every time you want a cold drink, just flip the lid cover back and you're in. There are cutouts for the control panel and ventilation areas, so the fridge functions exactly as it should whilst staying protected from dust, dirt and moisture splashes. The integrated storage pockets are genuinely useful. Front and side zippered compartments give you somewhere proper to stash power cables, fuses and whatever else needs to live with the fridge. Saves rummaging through bags or having cables tangled in the boot. At 3kg, the cover adds minimal weight but offers proper protection against scuffs and scratches that'd otherwise mark up your expensive cool box over time.
