The BOXIO Water Filter Replacement Pads keep your filter system working properly when you're out on the road or off-grid. You get three PP cotton pre-filters and three activated carbon pads in each pack, which is the official replacement set for BOXIO water filters. The pre-filters catch the obvious stuff first: sand, rust, sediment, anything floating about in your water source. That stops the ultrafiltration membrane from getting clogged up, which is what you want because a blocked membrane means slow flow and disappointing performance. The activated carbon pads then tackle odours and taste, so what comes out the other end is actually drinkable. They're 3 cm across and slot straight into the BOXIO WATER FILTER or BOXIO WASH UP systems without needing tools or faff. Takes about a minute to swap them out. How often you'll need to replace them depends on how much you use the filter and what you're putting through it. If the flow rate drops off or the water starts tasting a bit iffy, that's your cue to fit fresh pads. Having a spare set in your motorhome or camping kit means you won't get caught short mid-trip when the filter starts struggling.
