If you've invested in a Dometic CFX3 75 or CFX5 75 powered coolbox, this protective cover makes a lot of sense. It's built from thermoformed EVA foam panels and tough 1200D nylon, which sounds technical but basically means it'll take the knocks that come with overlanding, off-road trips, or just daily use in the back of your van. The charcoal finish looks smart and the four-piece design wraps snugly around the coolbox with concealed zips keeping everything secure. What's clever is the clip-on lid section. You don't need to remove the entire cover every time you want to grab a cold drink, which saves genuine hassle on longer trips. The cutouts are well thought out too. There's access to the control panel without removing anything, and crucially, the ventilation areas remain clear so your coolbox can breathe properly and run efficiently. Storage pockets are built into the front and sides, perfect for keeping power cables tidy or stashing small items you'd otherwise lose. It adds 2.7kg, which isn't nothing, but the protection against dust, dirt, moisture and scuffs is worth it if you're serious about keeping your coolbox in decent nick. Fits both the CFX3 75DZ and CFX5 75DZ models. Measures 845mm wide, 510mm deep and 485mm high when fitted.
