The Eastern Shovelhead is an expert-level BMX bike that has been a staple of the Eastern range for over a decade. Built around a full chromoly frame, fork and handlebars, the Shovelhead delivers lightweight strength and responsive performance for serious riders. Premium components include fully sealed hubs, 3-piece 48-spline chromoly cranks, Eastern Squealer 100 PSI tyres, an alloy sprocket, double-wall rims and Eastern Facet pedals. Supplied with 2 steel pegs, the Shovelhead is ready for street, park and technical riding. Some final assembly is required before use, including fitting the handlebars, front wheel, pedals and saddle. As with all bicycles supplied in a box, we recommend checking that all nuts, bolts and components are correctly tightened prior to riding. The brakes and drivetrain should be inspected and adjusted where necessary during assembly and as part of ongoing maintenance. To ensure safe operation, the bicycle should be fully checked before its first ride and serviced periodically throughout its lifetime. If you are not confident carrying out the assembly yourself, we recommend using a qualified bicycle mechanic.
