Great British Walkies
The Great British Walkies Guide is here to help dogs and their humans sniff out their new favourite walks and enjoy more of the great outdoors together. From a quick local wander to a proper weekend adventure, there’s an everyday mountain out there for every dog.

We’ve enlisted the help of Mountain Warehouse Ambassadogs who’ve tried, tested and rated walks on the things that really matter:
Sniff Quality: How much is there to stop, sniff and investigate?
Stick Availability: The potential for great stick discovery
Zoomie Zones: Space for an energetic run around
Water Access: Keeping thirsty pups topped up
Roll-Ability: Mud, grass and other irresistible things to roll in
Dog Social Scene: Chances to meet other dogs
Adventure Factor: New sights and experiences to explore
Wheel Friendly: How manageable the terrain is for dogs using mobility wheels
Senior Suitability: How well the route suits older dogs enjoying a gentler pace

MEET THE AMBASSADOGS:
Our fourteen Ambassadogs are the four-legged experts behind our Great British Walkies Guide, putting walks across the UK through their paces to help you sniff out your next adventure together. Between them, they have explored and rated 27 walks across the UK, from Edinburgh all the way down to Devon.
Meet our furry friends below and discover their favourite walks, top-rated routes and what makes the best walks worthy of a five-paw rating.
