Summer is just around the corner and with it comes a whole host of awesome festivals. Here at Mountain Warehouse we love music, we love our mates and we love a good festival. So we decided we’d save you the leg work and round up what we consider to be the best 5 festivals to get raving and partying at with your mates this summer.

 

LOVEBOX

 

Date: 14th – 15th July 2017

Location: Victoria Park, London

Cost: From £72 for a day ticket

Coming to Victoria Park on the 14th & 15th July, Lovebox is bringing together some of the best global artists for a weekend of music and dancing. Originally a day festival in the South of London, it moved to the East End’s Victoria Park and officially took up residency there from 2005. This year Lovebox are celebrating their 15th Birthday and throughout the years the festival has become a firm part of East London’s growing and vibrant music scene. This years line up include big names such as Chase & Status, Frank Ocean, Jamie XX, Annie Mac, DJ EZ and so many more.

DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL

 

Date: 9-11th June 2017

Location: Donnington Park, Derby

Cost: From £104.75

Also going into it’s 15th year; Download is one of the biggest Festivals around. With an insane line up this year including System of a Down, Biffy Clyro, Aerosmith, Sum 41, Good Charlotte and Rob Zombie you’re not going to be short on good acts to see. That’s just scratching the surface too. This year there are 4 stages of non-stop music. So get your wellies, practice your head banging and prepare to loose your voice from all the screaming you’ll be doing. It’s gonna be mad.

LATITUDE FESTIVAL

 

Date: 9-11th June 2017

Location: Henham Park, Suffolk

If you’re after something with a more chilled vibe then Latitude is for you. It’s not just about music here as there is a mind-boggling array of things to do. There’s at least 5 stages that range from superstar acts, breakthrough artists and everything in between. There are theater performances, comedy shows, music and film arena, dancing groups, literature readings and poetry, talks, arts and crafts, fitness classes, therapies, treatments, classes, a forest and even cabaret! So there’s no excuse not to please even the most picky of your mates.

THE SECRET GARDEN PARTY

 

Date: 20-23rd July 2017

Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

Sweet Dreams are Made of These. The theme for years Secret Garden Party is getting people dressed to impress and live like you’re famous. With some massive acts including Metronnomy, Crystal Fighters and Toots & the Maytals this year will be bigger than ever before. Between acts chill out with a paint fight, swimming in the pond, high jumping and even mud wrestling – if that sort of thing takes your fancy. This is really a festival to let your hair down and go wild. Oh and enjoy the fireworks!

BESTIVAL

 

Date: 7-10th September

Location: Lulworth Estate, Dorset

Bestival has moved for the first time this year from it’s home on the Isle of Wight to Dorset – home of Camp Bestival. Supporting a whole host of amazing acts and artists there will be something for everyone’s musical inclinations. Bestival is wacky, it’s quirky and it’s full of people dressed in every costume imaginable. So make sure you bring yours! It has a chilled vibe where people come to relax and unwind. Like most of the larger festivals there is more than just music. Unlock your mind in “Slow Motion” go wild in the “Cuckoo Clump” and loose yourself in a world of Bollywood music and colour in the “Colour Field”. You’re going to be spoilt for choice.
